Introduction to Sarwahitashi Dairy and Agrovet Research Pvt. Ltd.
Among the leading districts in Nepal’s agriculture and livestock sector, Kabhre district stands out. It ranks second or third in milk production as well. It was also the first district in Nepal to establish a dairy. However, due to the long distance and difficult roads to transport raw milk produced in various remote areas of Kabhre to Kathmandu, both the consumers and dairy farmers face challenges. This leads to difficulties in delivering quality milk and dairy products to consumers, while dairy entrepreneurs and farmers suffer losses due to milk spoilage. To mitigate such issues and to make quality milk and dairy products easily available to consumers at affordable prices, the focus of Sarwahitashi Dairy and Agrovet Research Pvt. Ltd. is on producing milk and dairy products using modern equipment’s semi-automatic machineries and techniques at low cost in Kabhre and surrounding districts such as Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, and Kathmandu.
